Are my photos uploaded?
No. Image bytes and extracted metadata stay in this browser tab. The site contains no file-upload endpoint.
Does cleaning change image quality?
Privacy Clean preserves JPEG compressed image data. Full Flatten and redaction create newly encoded pixels and may change compression or file size.
Does a clean report guarantee anonymity?
No. It reports supported hidden-data categories. Visible faces, text, landmarks, reflections, and context still require human review.
Why preserve orientation?
Some phones store sideways pixels and rely on an EXIF instruction. Lossless cleaning keeps only a minimal orientation tag when needed.
