Use solid masks for secrets
Blur and pixelation are visual effects. A solid flattened mask is the safer choice for text, codes, addresses, and account details.
Choose or paste an image, then drag across information to hide.
How this workflow works
From selected file to checked copy
- 01
Open the image
Paste a screenshot or choose a local photo.
- 02
Cover what must not be shared
Use solid masks for addresses, account numbers, QR codes, faces, and other sensitive details.
- 03
Flatten and verify
The visible result is rendered into a new file without the original metadata or hidden thumbnail.
Exact local boundary
The image stays out of the request path
The browser reads files only after you choose, drop, or paste them. Parsing, cleaning, redaction, output verification, ZIP creation, and downloads all happen on this device.

Know what the result means
Is blur safe for passwords or account numbers?
Solid redaction is the safer choice. Blur and pixelation are visual obscuring effects and may leave recoverable clues.
Does the export keep the original embedded thumbnail?
No. Redacted exports are freshly rendered and then rescanned.
