Photo-sharing checklist for parents

A calm, practical review of location, school details, routines, names, uniforms, documents, and audience before sharing family photos.

01

Decide on the audience first

A private family message, a limited group, and a public social post have different risk. Choose the smallest audience that meets the reason for sharing.

02

Check location and routine clues

GPS, house numbers, school logos, street signs, sports schedules, and recurring timestamps can reveal where a child spends time. Review visible and hidden information together.

03

Look for names and documents

Certificates, mail, medical paperwork, device screens, and name tags can be readable at full resolution even when they look small in a feed preview.

04

Prepare a sharing copy

Crop unnecessary background, apply solid masks where needed, clean metadata, and inspect the exact exported file.
